I love this Carrot Cupcake recipe because it's so easy to make. No mixer is required. The time consuming part is the grating of the fresh carrots. I have included applesauce in the cupcake batter which, along with the oil, makes these cupcakes so moist. But, if you like, you could use an equal amount of grated apple or even crushed pineapple. Yule logs are such a classic holiday dessert. Its such a magical dessert. It's crazy to think that you can bake a cake, fill it with a sweet filling, roll it up, frost it, and make it look like a gorgeous woodland log straight out of a fairy tale.

Recipes for yule logs date back to the 1600s, but were popularized in French bakeries during the 19th century (where they get their other common name, Bûche de Noël). Many of these lovely cakes are garnished with elaborate meringue mushrooms or other edible woodland creatures, but you’ll love the simplicity of this one.




Yule logs are traditionally made around the winter holidays, since they have such a show-stopping quality (and make a great centerpiece at a Christmas party. However, you could definitely try your hand at this one any time of the year that you’re craving a luscious chocolate cake (or whipping up one for the chocolate lovers in your life)! 

What's the tradition behind a yule log cake?

When they were popularized in France during the 19th century, yule log cakes represented the yule log that families would burn on Christmas Eve. They symbolize the coming of the new year and good luck.



YOU CAN BAKE ANY CAKES AND COOKIES ON STOVE ITSELF OR WITHOUT OVEN BY FOLLWING THE INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN BELOW WITH THE SAME TIMING GIVEN FOR EACH CAKE RECIPE 

Here baked this cake without adding salt or sand in normal heavy bottom pan with lid covered it.
Main thing you have to remember is that no heat should be gone out so cover with Tight lid or keep some weight on top of the lid. 


How to Bake a Plum Cake in Pressure Cooker :

  1. Take a heavy bottom pan or pressure cooker.
  2. Heat the pan or cooker. Place any stand/plate inside. 
  3. If your using cooker REMOVE Gasket and Whistle. Close only the lid of cooker.
  4. If your using just pan than use any lid cover, place heavy object on the lid, here i have use motor stone.
  5. Pre-Heat the cooker/pan for 15min in medium flame.
NOTE: MAKE SURE NO AIR IS BEEN ESCAPE WHILE BAKING.

Ingredients:
  1. Flour - 3/4 cup
  2. Powder sugar - 2/4 cup
  3. Coco powder - 1/4 cup
  4. Eggs -2 
  5. Vanilla extract - 2 tsp
  6. Chocolate ganache 
Instructions:
  • In a bowl add 2 eggs and beat them for 10 min, then add powder sugar 3/4 cup , to this add  2 tsp of vanilla extract. Add beat either by electric beater or normal whisk.
  • In other bowl add Flour 3/4 cup and coco powder - 1/4 and mix well.
  • Add one part of mixed flour to the egg mix and beat for few seconds and add remaining flour and beat for few seconds.
  • Now pour this cake batter into parchment lined baking tray and tap twice.
  • Place this tray into pre-heated oven for 15min for 180 degree and bake it.
  • Meanwhile place a kitchen towel and sprinkle coco powder on it .
  • Once baked, place the cake on the coco dusted towel and remove the paper on it.
  • Now roll the cake along with the towel. Then unroll the cake.
  • Apply chocolate ganache on top of the cake, then again roll the cake.
  • Again ally chocolate ganache on top of the rolled cake. and keep it in fridge for 30 mins.
  • Once cooled down cut the edges for clear piece.
  • Serve the cake by sprinkling powdered sugar on top and with strawberry or cranberry.

Take all items

Crack the eggs into the bowl

Add powder sugar

Beat the eggs with the electric beater or normal wish for 10min 

Splash vanilla extract and keep this wet ingredient aside

In other bowl add flour

Then coco powder

Mix both well 

Now add the dry mix half into wet mix, and beat for 1min 

Then add remaining half 

Give a final turn 

Pour them into parchment lined baking tray 

Tap twice and bake it for 15min in pre heated oven for 180 degree 

Mean while take a clean kitchen towel and dust coco powder on it

After baking place them on dusted coco towel and remove the paper

Roll the cake along with the towel 

Then open them, never mind if it got cut

Apply chocolate ganache on it 

Spread them well 

Again roll the cake 

Like this 

Apply the remaining chocolate ganache on top of the roll 

Keep it in fridge for 30min

Take from fridge and cut the edges 

Serve them with powdered sugar on top with strawberry or cranberry!!
